It started with curiosity.

I started by experimenting with digital art. The more I discovered about AI, the more curious I became about what else I could create with it. I wanted to try building an app, although I had never imagined I could do something like that myself. After all, I’m not a programmer.

Then people began talking about “vibe coding”, building software through conversation with AI. I decided to give it a try and started with Gemini.

My first real app was called VibePlanner. Today it is BirtaCoach, available as an iOS app and a web app for computers and phones. Birta is an AI coach that helps people organise everyday life, whether they have a packed schedule, ADHD or simply need a little support getting things on track.

Then the ideas kept coming. Mood Popper took shape, followed by Birta Hush Hush. Gradually, I began to see a common thread in what I was creating: solutions and tools that could make everyday life a little easier.

I learned as I built.

At first, much of the work involved copying and pasting code between Gemini and Xcode. It was a lot of work, so I was quick to try new tools as they appeared. I moved to Cursor, then Antigravity, and when I could work with Claude directly on my computer, even more possibilities opened up.

I began building a workspace for AI agents and created a chat where they could communicate. At first, I had them exchange messages through text files. Later, my work moved into Terminal on my MacBook, where I have continued building both my apps and tools for my own business.

One of these tools helps me keep track of my business and marketing. I use it every day, and it also brings me news several times a day on the topics I want to follow. My own needs become ideas I can try out and develop further.

Different apps. The same common thread.

Without planning it that way, many of my ideas have grown towards the needs of neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, autism or both, AuDHD. I want to create tools that give people room to find their own way.

The apps are intended for a broad range of people. Many of us share a need for structure, calm or a simpler way through the day. The common thread in my work is care for the person using it.

My ideas have also led me in new directions: image editing with Ljóma, keeping the things we find online with Repono, and translations that preserve our voice with Still Me.

I still have countless ideas I want to bring to life. Today I work with both Claude and ChatGPT. Creating with AI has become a real passion, and the curiosity that got me started is still with me.
