VibePlanner ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed and published by Nexoitec (María Helgadóttir). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use VibePlanner.

1. Information We Collect

VibePlanner collects minimal data to provide its core functionality:

• Anonymous User ID: When you first open the app, an anonymous account is created through Supabase authentication. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
• App Data: Your tasks, schedule items, shopping lists, journal entries, mood logs, joy memories, and Neon Points are stored locally on your device and synced to Supabase servers for backup and cross-device access.
• Household Sharing Data: If you choose to use Family Sync (Premium feature), a household code links your account with family members. Shared data is limited to what you explicitly choose to share.
• AI Coach Conversations: When you use the AI Vibe Coach (Premium feature), the text you send is forwarded to Google's Gemini API through a secure Supabase Edge Function. Conversations are not stored on our servers after the response is generated.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect health or fitness data
• We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data
• Journal photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers

3. Third-Party Services

VibePlanner uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase (supabase.com) — For anonymous authentication, data storage, and sync. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Google Gemini API — The AI Vibe Coach sends your message text to Google's Gemini API via a secure server-side function. No personal identifiers are included. Google AI Terms
• Apple StoreKit — For processing in-app purchases. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never accessible to us.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and synced to Supabase servers protected by Row Level Security (RLS). Supabase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete individual items directly in the app. Deleting the app removes all local data. To request deletion of server-side data, contact us at support@nexoitec.com.

6. Children's Privacy

VibePlanner is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app uses anonymous authentication only.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent for your data. Contact us at support@nexoitec.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
